In Russia the tradition was always give lodging for the night traveller, but uninvited guests to treat by food and not let them stay in the hotels or the rental housing units. But now in Moscow and other large cities, if the discussion does talk about relatives, in its own house they let people in only for obtaining of profit. And this service cost big enough money.
